The holiday collections have started to arrive at the beauty counters, which means it’s time to swatch and review them! The first collection that I am reviewing this year is the one from NARS. Forget the classic shades and packaging, the collection is inspired by the iconic punk fashion of the 1970s. Time to  uncover your inner rebel.

 NARS – Provocateur Eyeshadow palette – € 39,00

Six richly pigmented eyeshadows in new, limited-edition shades get the party started—and keep looks going after dark with soft-to-scandalous effects. Smolder bolder. 

Provocateur is your favorite palette for this Holiday season. Like the description says: you can make very wearable daytime looks, but also super smokey looks for a night out. One of my favourite shades is the one that I have used in my look below. It was a bit hard to catch on camera, but it’s a warm champagne shades with blue shimmers, very unique, but still wearable!

NARS – Hot Thryst Cheek Palette – € 49,00

Cheek to chic. Contour, highlight and pop with natural-looking dimension in a palette of six limited-edition sheer-to-buildable shades. Four ultra-flattering blushes. Two second-skin effect highlighting powders. One covetable palette. 

The stunner of this NARS Holiday collection: the Hot Thryst Cheek Palette. In this palette you get 2 beautiful highlighters and 4 amazing blushes. NARS has released a lot of blush palettes, but I think this one is my favourite ever! The powders are very blendable and have a natural finish. I always have a hard time with blushes, because they can look very chalky or too shimmery on my skin. But with these, you won’t have that problem at all!

If you are looking for the perfect matte lip products, than this set is amazing to try out. The Velvet Matte Lip Pencil is not as pigmented, as the other lip products in this review, but it does have the best matte finish. The products also come in a limited edition NARS case.

The Underground Velvet Lip Glide Coffret Set brings together three portable and all-new limited-edition shades. Combining the texture of a gloss with the captivating colour of a lipstick, they effortlessly glide on with a semi-matte finish that won’t feel sticky.

This lip set is one of my favourites from the entire Holiday collection. For € 24,- you get 3 mini lip glides in very wearable shades. I think it’s the perfect gift for a beautylover to try out NARS products. As the name says, the products glides on your lips ánd is very pigmented as well. My personal favourite shade is Vandal: a perfect nude, which you can match with a heavy smokey eye.

NARS – Powermatte Lip Luster – Pierce – € 26,00

The highly pigmented Powermatte Lip Pigment, now in a brushed-metal formula. 

The Powermatte Lip Luster has been my favourite lip product of the past few months, that’s why I was very excited to see that Nars has launched new shades  of this lip product in this collection. Pierce is your perfect red lipstick with a touch of gold shimmers for festive season: extremely pigmented ánd longwearing.

NARS – Spiked Audacious Lipstick – Sheena – € 31,00

Swipe on style with a limited-edition shade of award-winning Audacious Lipstick. Designed with a studded silhouette inspired by the rebellious fashion of the 70s. 

I have heard a lot of good things about the Nars Audacious lipsticks, but never had the opportunity to try them. In this holiday collection, you will find a very exclusive edition of this lipstick. You will not only see the spikes on the packaging, but also ingraved in the lipstick too! The formula of the Audacious lipstick is very smooth, filled with pigment.
