Every year Dolce&Gabbana comes out with a limited edition of their classic Light Blue fragrance, and every year I look very much forward to it. You might remember the Italian Zest edition from last year, which was a true gem. This time they are capturing the essence of young, sun-kissed passion with a new limited edition fragrance, Light Blue Sun.

This summer, Light Blue’s fruity floral signature takes on a new sunny, sensual quality, as though warmed by the languorous heat of the Capri sun.
Top notes: Lemon, Granny Smith apple, Coconut Nectar, Ozonic notes
Heart notes: Jasmine, White Rose, Frangipani
Base notes: Ambergris, Vanilla, Cedar, White Musk
If you follow me on my Instagram, you probably have already seen many stories that I posted about the Light Blue Sun fragrance. Usually I don’t like citrus fragrances, but with Light Blue it’s a different story. It smells so fruity and fresh, without it being overpowering and too sweet. What makes this Light Blue edition different than the other ones, is that it’s more creamy and warmer. This is probably one of the reasons why I’m using it way more often. I can definitely notice a hint of coconut blended with the vanilla, which is an amazing combination with the citrus notes. I just wish they made the coconut a bit stronger, because on my skin it’s very light. Overall an amazing summer fragrance, and the packaging is gorgeous too!

Light Blue Sun for Men smells like a true vacation in a bottle! It’s sharp, dry and smooth at the same time. It’s not as light as the female version is, it’s more warmer and has more depth to it. But you can definitely notice the citrus notes such as the grapefruit, through it. What is amazing about this summer fragrance compared to others is that longevity is absolutely amazing. Once you apply it, there is no need to touch-up, you will smell the fragrance the entire day or evening!
