No matter what your skin type is, the CHANEL Cleansing collection is designed for all. This year they launched L’EAU MICELLAIRE: an anti-pollution cleansing water, composed of 96% natural-origin ingredients. Since I only use micellaire water to remove my makeup, these past 5 years, I was very excited to try this one out by CHANEL.

The high tolerance formula of L’EAU MICELLAIRE is recommended for all skin types, and particularly sensitive skin. In a single step, it removes makeup and cleanses the skin while respecting skin pH levels thanks to a prebiotic molecule. Its micelles capture and eliminate makeup – even long-lasting makeup – impurities, UV filters and pollutants.
At the heart of its formula, L’EAU MICELLAIRE associates two marine plant extracts to cleanse the skin while preserving its essential functions. One of them is blue micro-algae, which removes pollutants. Marine Salicornia extract moisturises and strengthens the skin. In addition, its formula is enriched with a prebiotic molecule that stimulates the microbiome’s natural defences to protect and rebalance the skin’s ecosystem.
L’EAU MICELLAIRE ensures perfect cleansing and makeup removal for lips, face and eyes, even on longwearing and waterproof formulas by combing the performance of these active ingredients. Like I said before, it adapts to all skin types, even the most sensitive ones.
The cleansing water comes in a sleek minimal packaging, with a pump. It might be a small detail, but a very important one. With the pump you can dispense exactly enough product onto a cotton pad, without using or spilling too much product. I don’t have this with my other micellaire waters, so I really liked it. When I’m using the L’EAU MICELLAIRE it feels very nice and refreshing on my skin. It gently removes all my makeup, even my waterproof mascara and leaves my skin feeling very comfortable.
