A fragrance inspired by Gabrielle, the woman who became Coco Chanel. Passionate and free, she chose who she wanted to be. Captivating and luminous. The fragrance of a radiant woman, faceted with jasmine, ylang-ylang, orange blossom and the most bewitching flower of all, Grasse tuberose. Composed by Olivier Polge.

The first thing that I noticed about GABRIELLE CHANEL ESSENCE, is that it’s a stronger take on the original. The difference isn’t very big but it’s definitely more floral, voluptuous, warmer and less fruity. It’s a warm, creamy, soft and sophisticated fragrance that’s very likable, which makes it a perfect gift for festive season. Since I received it, I have been reaching for the fragrance more often than I thought I would. It suits every occasion, every mood ánd it’s very officeproof. I truly have been loving wearing it the past month!
Something else that CHANEL has launched in the Gabrielle line is the new hair mist. I was very excited when I saw this, because I love to use hair fragrances. I always feel like I get more compliments on my fragrance, when I use a hair mist too. It will make the perfume smell even better and last a lot longer during the day. You can use the hair mist in two different ways: spraying directly onto your hair, or spraying it on your brush before styling.
